This one day course is designed for any individuals who are working in a role where they have the potential to face violence or aggression

What Will You Learn?

You will learn a variety of theoretical and physical skills, to be able to recognise the warning signs for when someone is becoming angry, violent or aggressive, de-escalate a potentially threatening situation and the physical skills to be able to disengage from an aggressor.

We have a large curriculum of disengagement and breakaway techniques, which can can be added or subtracted from your training course. If you require a technique to manage a specific problem, please discuss this prior to course commencement, so the tailored techniques can be added into your course curriculum.

With 12 years of experience in the healthcare sector, Jordan has worked in various settings, including forensic mental health services and secure units for both male and female patients. As a Registered Mental Health Nurse and General Services PMVA Tutor, he has delivered over 2,000 hours of training across the UK. Jordan's hands-on experience and dedication to creating a supportive learning environment ensure that all learners are well-prepared for their roles.

Our Credentials

All Evolve PMVA tutors are Grade A certified GSA PMVA instructors. Our rigorous training standards include a three-week intensive GSA Tutors Course, annual refresher training, and certifications in Emergency First Aid at Work.

Additionally, all our tutors hold a Level Three Education and Training qualification, ensuring the highest level of instruction.
